Have just aquired this very special sock knitter,
So biker your wish will be fulfilled, i am busy looking for pink fluffy wool, i can kit you a hat to match as well, with either a tassel or pom pom.
That is if i can figure how to work the dratted machine]:)

Not looking so good as it was very stiff/jammed, so i took it to bits, my friend is very good at getting things to work, so hopefully she will be able to mend it for me. I do have my grandaughter's plastic knitty thing, so that might work as well.

Hi Cookie, i have several knitting nancys, used to make them with a wooden cotton reel and bent carpet nails, those "u" shaped thingy-my-jigs,i used to call it french knitting, the thingy i am on about is like the photo, but more modern

yes you can get rather large ones now .i saw some a few weeks ago.mine cotton reel was a dolly bobbin.:-)

I bought Lilybud a knitting Nancy ,she adored it and all her ted's ended up with very very very long scarves :^O
