Signatures - discretion advised?

I use a signature which reflects my faith.  It doesn't make me any better than the next man, but I do notice I appear to be the only person on the board who professes their faith and part of their testimony as a signature.  This board is made up of people of all faiths and religious convictions.

In short, is it indiscrete of me to use such a signature.  Fred.

This chap I mentioned is just like that.  He's 96 and I've got that way that I don't really like him any more.

now you can be away for a couple of weeks and they are STILL the sameSmiley Sad

Re: Signatures - discretion advised?

very true and the reason is easily seen ! It is because many of the nice people like yourself went too pastures new and I cannot blame anyone for that.

Just us old fuddy duddys left that cannot find or do not know anywhere else to go.   Smiley Sad  Smiley LOL

Re: Signatures - discretion advised?

it goes back further than that

there used to be 50,60, 70 regulars who were all great

it had its problems, sure, but for the most part it was always really funny  on here

Re: Signatures - discretion advised?

I dislike sibs... My eyes are drawn to keep reading them, and it's boring!
Back in the day, when we allowed animated sigs, it was far more fun...

Re: Signatures - discretion advised?

Thank you Merlin.  You - and others, have made som very valid points.  I have a bad habit of wearing my heart on my sleeve and I must at times come across as the most boorish, dogmatic, and bigotted person on the board.  My errors are as plain as a pikestaff.  It surprises me anybody bothers responding to my ramblings at times, but I'm only me, and at my age it's difficult to teach an old dog new tricks - I'm a slow learner.

You have all given me much food for thought, although with Rainy it was genuine praise on my part, not an intention to Bible punch.

I have already come to a decision about my signature and will be acting upon it within a few minutes.

Once again, thank you for your useful comments.  Anon FredSmiley Wink
