Oh Ed, she was a case and a half. Big hearted, ditzy and had some unfortunate experiences, most of which were terribly funny. One night she was "babysitting" for her mate's elderly father. The old man was not good on his pins and had a walking frame and needed a urinal bottle rather than the loo. One night nature called and dear Chuffed, tactfully not looking, duly got the bottle "down there" - he was standing upright with his frame - and felt her feet getting wet. She'd only gone and put the wrong part (or rather, parts) of him into the bottle!

Gosh, Mrs Ratbag! Very upright and proper and a bit stern, but she was a right laugh underneath. I recall her one day saying a norty word on here, we all cracked up, but her husband said she was "letting herself down". Which made it funnier. She was a church organist, if memory serves. Remember she had the world-renowned organist Carlo Curley to stay at her house and he had a nosebleed before a concert? Someone suggested he stick tampons up his nostrils.
