I hate driving when it's been snowing especially when it's frozen over the snow. Glad that you are safe Stan.

Yes lazy o'clock does sound good. If the weather's bad in the morning, I'll be doing lazy o'clock as well.

Well it's just started snowing here. It seems to be sticking on the pavement on our side of the road but nowhere else at the moment.

Well we didn't get as much snow as they promised us thankfully. I might actually practice some escapism sooner rather than later. I am 57 years old and my mother doesn't like me going out in a morning when it's dark. I have just had the comment 'You're not going out too early are you?' What she doesn't realise is the sooner I can get out the sooner I can get back. I've decided that I will go into town first and I will have to ring her when I get there. Mother will be alright when the light mornings come in.

Afternoon all. It hasn't been as cold here today but it is still a bit nippy and we've had rain nearly all day. A friend of mine said when I saw him in town this morning that he'd heard that we were going to have snow from 11 tonight to 4 in the morning. I've checked the Met Office website and there's no mention of snow. I seriously hope that the Met Office are right.

We just had a smattering of snow last night but by this morning, it had disappeared thankfully.

Very funny Ed, I like We have no snow either othen than a smattering which fell about a week ago and has been frozen solid ever since.
Think Mercles must be buried under an igloo where she is.

No snow here, so set out for work. Got to half a mile from the office and there was suddenly about 6 inches.Trying to get across the car park in my wheelchair was a nightmare.
Over half of the staff didn't bother coming in.
Sleety / snowy showers all day at work, nothing at home.
I am dreading what it wil be like tomorrow if it freezes, especially as I have to attend a greivance meeting at work.

We are normally very lucky weatherwise where I live as we don't normally get too many extremes of weather. When we had snow last night, I don't think we had half an inch of the white stuff.

Our snow is melting away thank goodness .
Today ive ventured outdoors to get my hair done & later have an appointment to see the Chest consultant at the hospital, fingers crossed for the last one as ive not ahd a good year so far .

Good luck pcc.
My daughter is taking HER daughter (my 10 year old granddaughter) to see a consultant privately this afternoon (they have insurance). She was admitted to hospital last week with tummy pains (kidney area) and after Xrays and scans they said they couldn't really see anything wrong except one ureter (the tube leading from the kidney to the bladder) was swollen. Then sent her home. She still has to give her pain killers to get her up for school, then when they wear off, school sends her home again!

Good luck Von with the chest consultant.
CG, I hope that they can manage to sort the problem out with your granddaughter.
I had to take my mum to the doctor's this morning for a warfarin blood test. It has been high for the last two or three weeks but it's never been as high as today's reading was. She has to go back on 2nd February I think it is. If it's high again, I think that it might be a visit to the hospital.
It's been bright weatherwise here today but it's on the cool side. Hope that everyone is as well as can be e
