Morning all.  Not long since had a look outside and it's a tad frosty.  I'll go out into town and for a swim this morning but I'll go out later than I normally do.  For a change, I'll go into town first and then go for a swim.  I've not had a swim since Friday due to the weather being bad so I am looking forward to a swim today.  After I've had my swim, I'll have a coffee in the members lounge before leaving for home.

  It's a tad frosty here too. 

Tuesday is one of my swimming days.  I lent my car to someone yesterday for a few days and thought I wouldn't have be able to go swimming today......................................no such luck, daughter is going to come and pick me up!!

Yes Merc.  You take care.  It's on the cool side here as well and it's not long since started to cloud over.  We've been forecast with the white stuff for tonight.  Yuk.  When I went out this morning, the car was telling me it was freezing point.  It was cold enough but not as cold as Merc has it.  On my way back home, the temperature was hovering between 3 and 4 degrees.   When I was in town this morning, one chap wanted to know why I wasn't in town by about 8.45.  Now, I know I'm crackers but I'm not that crackers.  The roads on our estate are like a skating rink when we have frost and there's always cars parked where they shouldn't be.  Needless to say, this chap was given what for and not just by me. Never mind.  At least I got back safe and sound.

Daughter said it was -5 when she left grandson at the bus stop at 8 am.  He had on a thin coat and no hat , gloves or scarf.  I bet the coat went in his bag at the first opportunity too!

It was minus 4 outside when I went to work this morning. Of course the boiler at work had lost pressure, so no heating, it was only 10 degrees in the office this morning. One of the days when a tiny office is an advantage, shut the door and put the electric halogen heater on and it doesn't take long to warm up.

Snow is forecast from evening until mid-afternoon tomorrow, so may have to work at home tomorrow.

We've had snow forecast from about 9 tonight until the early hours in the morning.  Oh how I hope that they've got it wrong but I'm not holding my breath.
