Afternoon all.  It's a lovely day here today.  I did a bit of gardening earlier and it was nice and warm even if it was a little bit blowy.  

I keep meaning to sort out my knitting patterns which I may get around to later.  I'll be buying some wool on Wednesday whilst we are out.  I want some wool for at least one jumper for me and I want some more for another cardigan for Grace.

my sciatica is still playing me up, I look about 90 plonk getting out of the car, ah well not a lot I can do about that.

I shall be going out tomorrow, there is an antique fair on, so we are going for a nosey. I'm under strict instructions not to buy anything!!!......yeah right

Hope that you enjoy the antiques fair CB.  We are going to Bury market on Wednesday and I know very well that I'll get 'you're not buying any more wool are you'.  In a word mother - yes.  There's a brilliant stall on the market there that sells all kinds of wool.  I'll be in my element.

Lovely sunny day here but rather windy! Still in my pj's but off for a nice shower now I have has my cuppa.

Been out for a cycle, scrubbed the bathroom & planning on dead heading/ pruning/ weeding after lunch for a few hours.Uniform ironing after tea for the week ahead, looking forward to friday off and a nice long weekend in Kent next week.

Afternoon all.  I went for a swim this morning and this afternoon, I mowed the lawn for the last time this year hopefully.  I timed it just right as we've had a short sharp shower since.  The weather has been mixed here today as it was quite bright this morning.  It's been a bit blowy as well.

We have just had a couple of almighty downpours and the wind is getting a bit as well.  It looks like we may be having that hurricane or whatever it is a bit early.

good evening everyone, we didn't go the fair after all, I wasn't bothered really. We ended up like this....

OH has taken a shed load of boxes out of the garage to have a look at the china we need to get rid of...so it is now in the kitchen, the breakfast room all over the table, and some in the lounge!!!! bubble wrap all over the place too before I got to it and put it all in a bin bag.....what is wrong with the male of the species????? tidy and methodical are not words in their vocabulary, aye..he mess!!!!!!

I've wrapped my SS so I'm posting it tomorrow...victim beware!! har har

Morning all.  I try to be tidy but my with a certain mother around, it's nigh on impossible.  If I am using the computer in my bedroom whilst it's on charge and the postie delivers some mail, even if it's, everything is strewn across my bed.  The air is somewhat blue when I put it on her bed.

Shouldn't have as many problems driving to the health club this morning.  There's a road near where I live which has been closed for four months and they finally reopened it at the weekend.  Firstly, they said that it was for sewerage works and it would be closed for up to 8 weeks from 23rd June.  At the beginning of September with them still working on the road, another message went of saying that the road would be closed for up to 7 weeks.  This was supposed to be for flood prevention.  The thing is, it never floods around there!!!!!   I'll never know why it took so long.
