Morning all. It's rather dull and overcast again here this morning. Never mind. There's nothing I can do about it is there?
Hugs from me to Carol and Merc as well.

Morning (for me!) - you can go off people you know Maggie - it's damp and dank here, rained all night. Garden soaked and was going to go continue putting the garden to bed - miles of clematis and Kilmarnock willows to be trimmed - maybe some sunshine this afternoon will dry it off a bit.
Thanks for biccies and good wishes, nothing good to tell after yesterday so I'll shurrup.
Merc - how are you feeling and which hospital did they send you to?

Oh Gill what a shame, having to go to all those different places.
Ninewells is like a small town, I get lost every time I go there (been going for 2 years). I use some of the short cuts the porters and cleaners have shown me (roon the back) but yesterday ended up outside one of the theatres (rapid back track).
We old hands can always tell the newbies 'cos they're waiting about in those gowns frozen, whereas we know to take our dressing gowns.
Rose - are you sure you're not part Scots? The use of 'doll' as in Mary Doll - Merc can explain

oh I absolutely loved Rab, he was hilarious.
Ed.. we went on our picnic to a layby with a fabulous view of the estuary at Conwy, You are up the hill there so you look down on it and can see all the birds etc. We turned our heads and there was a heron looking at us from the adjoining field hahahaha!! It's a lovely wee spot but it's spoilt by the cars on the road, it's such a busy stretch.
Today has been a nightmare in work, too many shops and not enough of us as usual. We came home and had lunch and OH is now snoring his head off!! bless him....

Thanks for the biscuit Merc. It was a lovely little treat. Hope that you are feeling better today. The hospitals here aren't too bad at times. Other times, they make you want to scream.
Sorry you had a busy day today CB. I love it round your neck of the woods.
We're off on another day out tomorrow. This time, we are going to Harrogate and then on to Knaresborough for a while. It will be a long day but I'm looking forward to it.
We've had lovely weather here today. I've managed to pull some more weeds up in the front garden. I didn't realise that it was as bad as it was.

The weather for where I live tomorrow isn't too bad. Pity I won't be at home to enjoy it as we're going to the other side of the Pennines and it has forecast cooler weather over there.
