I'd love another dog but we are going to wait until we retire...6yrs off boooo. It would be mean to leave a dog too long on it's own.

I've been out three days this week, soaking up the atmosphere of the Festival, went to a couple of events at the Udderbelly which is a very large purple cow believe it or not).  Had lunch and it was great to meet all these people with diffferent nationalities.

I'm not supposed to go out in large crowds (in case of infection), but I finally cracked up, I've been in this house and virtually nowhere else (except hospital obviously) since my diagnosis in Sept 2012.  My numbers are going up anyway so I just thought sod it, let's go.  Fingers crossed feeling ok so far.

Molly is gorgeous CG - there's an article in my paper today about a Portugese Podengo, Pod for short.  They're a small breed too, I had never heard of them, but he looked so lovely.

Afternoon all.  Hope that you enjoy yourself Carol.  I remember you telling us about your health problems.  I wouldn't have thought that it was nearly two years ago though.

We had one almighty shower this morning just as I got out of the car in town.  I got absolutely drenched.  It's been raining on and off all day.  I hope that we do have some more nice weather next week because it would be nice wouldn't it?

The couple next door just got two sister JRs last Saturday, they were 7 weeks old.  They're going for their first jabs tomorrow.  They're having a white picket fenced run made for them that fits on their patio and down onto part of the garden so they can 'play out'.  Their garden is huge plus a pasture and a 6 acre wood so impossible to make it all puppy proof, hence this large 'play pen'  They can't put them out unless someone is with them though in case a fox gets them!!!

I'll have to try and get a piccy before they're too big.  Minnie is dark and small, Ella is bigger and white with a dark patch over one eye.

Really enjoying being with the grandchildren - they really are a joy. Grandaughter is coming out with new words every day, and grandson has read me some lovely stories.

Went to the outlet village, got new shoes for the grandchildren, so grandson is ready for school next week. We also managed to find a new winter coat for grandaughter. I bought myself a new wallet in the Radley shop.

Hospital have phoned - can I go for pre-op assessment on Tuesday. Still no date for the operation.

sounds like you're having a super time with your grandchildren Stroppy - when do you go home?  Bet there will be some tearful goodbyes!  All the best for Tues, hope you learn something good.

Stan - you enjoying your new job now?  And how many littlies are in your bunch now?

Bet CB goes to the garden centre, daffodil time now.  I already have some and some more ordered.  Putting them all in pots this year (half price from Mr T) and I'll place them in the garden when they're in bud.  We get a fierce wind in the winter here, which ruins and flattens them all in the ground.

Not heard about Chris' next adventure.  Great Rose you're feeling better little one, but you should see Doc about anxiety - you can't live like that.

I guess Sam is working funny hours, Ed too.  I'm off to bed now, a good Nnight to all. xx.
