Oh Stroppy that is disgraceful!! you should complain, I'm sure you will. It's the indignity of it all and as you said on another thread, having to have a nurse spoon feed you as you are still shaking. You would think they would listen to you by now, you know your own body. That is the annoying thing, they never do think that you can know your own body!!!!!
I hope you feel better soon. xxx

What a palava stroppy. If it was on a carry on film you wouldn't watch it as it was 'too far fetched'!
Books, do your quinine tablets work?? Have they done any good do you think? I was up at 1.45 with cramp again. I'm sitting here drinking copious amounts of tonic water!
I'm in the process of deciding what new car I want, and what's happened -- the clutch has gone today on the old one. It's booked in for Monday morning. It's only done 16,000 miles!!

Stan, that was for an MOT, service, and then all the work on the car. I wouldn't mind but a local mechanic quoted us a price for the service but he couldn't do the MOT.
We usuaully use him but with having to have the MOT done we took it to Fords.
It's a 10yr old Focus, its only done 63.000 miles too. Of course it had it's timing belt done etc etc not long ago, so we were thinking of getting another one but not until we've had our money back from this palaver!!!!
horse and cart is looking very appealing at the moment hahahaha

As I've said, cars are an expensive necessity. We'd be lost without ours. I have a hospital appointment next month and to get to the hospital would be a two bus job. It's the same with our other hospital as well. When my mum's been in hospital, I wouldn't be able to get there on a Sunday as our bus service doesn't run on a Sunday so a car is essential.

We don't even have a bus service. You need a car to go to a bus stop!!
28-06-2014 12:58 PM
We don't have a car and it takes ages getting anywhere by bus, even into town; they keep cutting the buses back, making us having to wait longer in between buses, miss one and there's a 45 minute wait for the next one.
Going to watch tennis this afternoon, Federer is playing, then Nadal; good on Andy for getting through again last night.

We've just had a torrential downpour and thunderstorm so Wimbledon might be held up a bit.
28-06-2014 1:39 PM
The clouds keep coming over and there was a rumbling of thunder as i was cleaning the shop front floor this morning!!!.
I might go have a nap in a while ,,for some reason i feel tired today. Have another cuppa first though.

Afternoon all.
Hope that Stroppy is feeling a better today.
We will be going out for our tea soon. We're going to Grace's nans and I am looking forward to it. Grace's dad is doing a barbecue. I don't think that we will be sitting outside to eat though as it's not so jolly warm here. In fact, we've had to put the heat on for half an hour to take the chill off the bungalow. We've had quite a bit of rain as well. We've not had thunder though.

Ohhhhh had a lovely nap,, went right off to the land of nod. Another cuppa tea and im ready to get going again!!!!. Not too strenuously though!! LOL.

Morning all! It's grey and damp here too this morning but according to the forecast should brighten up later and then continue getting warmer during the week. Just chilling this morning and tidying the house. Out this evening as I play keyboard/piano in a community orchestra.
I've never started a thread that has gone on to so many pages before 🙂
