walked into the door last night with bare feet so a couple of toes are now swollen and purple so I certainly don't have pretty feet and nobody is allowed near my sore toes and definitely no touching them.

Oh Myra I bet that's painful.  I broke one of my toes last summer and that was bad enough.  Hope that it soon feels better.

Now there's me thinking that I was the only walking disaster area around here.  I tend to be a bit on the clumsy side as well.  I broke my toe by walking into my bedside cabinet.  Either that or it moved suddenly.  After I'd come down off the roof, I did a dance around my bedroom.  It is rather painful isn't it?

yes it is very painful, and OH saying "there's no need to swear" didn't help at that precise moment - there was every need to swear, and I only did a mild swear anyway it could (and should) have been a lot stronger

I know when I broke my toe last year I just said oh heck.  If you believe that, you believe anything.

Morning all.  We've were up at 6.30 and they came to start on the garage at 7.20 so we can't complain at that.  It sounds like they are dismantling the current garage.  At least we weren't hanging around for ages for them to come.
