Can I ask all MDCC buyers to check their recent purchase history and leave positive 5* feedback for your seller if you are satisfied.
Some new MDCC sellers have had their money held from last MDCC. Clearly, they are reluctant to list for MDCC yet again in August.
Thank you.

All new sellers are having this happening it`s not whether you leave 5* feedback or not
E bay have stated it is in case someone sends back an item for refund - why they would if they have left positive feedback ?????
So the money is in their account if E bay have to refund
So the same rule whether you are selling for charity or not
Tell them to keep with it if they like as once they have got over the first few initial hurdles which nearer the first month they should have done, they only have to then face the same rules we all do

if i remember rightly this 21 day hold lasts for 90 days so yes encourage them to stick with it.

It's not me by the way ...... but I can understand why a long-term business seller has set up a new eBay account to sell for MDCC and join in with us. keeping the business account separate from a charity/[personal account is definitely what I would have advised this person to do.
Now they can't get their money out of PayPal. I thought they could have their money if 5* feedback was sent. I am clearly wrong. Apologies.
But it would be good if MDCCers did leave positive feedback to say that they were happy with purchases anyway. I know we post on the MDCC thread to say 'parcel has arrived', but sometimes we have to play the eBay game for DSRs.
I will encourage the new eBay MDCC seller to stick with it. But how do you do that if funds are held for 90 days and yet she has sent all the money (not an insubstantial amount by the way) to the charities she listed for?
Gosh, I hope eBay don't kill off MDCC, but it is getting more and more difficult isn't it?
Thank you to everyone who replied.

I have two accounts, and when I started selling bits on this one earlier this year, even though the other one was in good standing etc etc it was still subject to the 90 day hold: I found, though, by ringing Pp they would release things that had feedback left, even if there was no tracking - I don't know if that's still the case, but it might be worth telling the other seller to give it a go: they were brilliant - super fast, and I was only on the 'phone about two minutes each time.
