i got a strange email pcc.......... knew exactly what it was

same thing happened to me on more than one occasion......... just change your password

hate when that blerdy happens........

is it the one that sends you to a commercial site?

Tracked it to Taiwan yesterday , have now changed all passwords & currently running a full scan .

I think you will find it's Malware & not a virus. I had it a couple of months ago. The link will go to a selling site but whoever opens it will send out the emails & so it continues. Just change your passwords to be on the safe side.

Let me guess... are you with an e-mail service that beings with the penultimate letter of the alphabet?  They had their main server hacked about 3 months ago and there has been a constant stream of spam apparently from their customers ( but of course really from elsewhere ) ever since.

Yes it is that Y email. I had the same problem & it seems to be ongoing. I have had a few from other email servers too lately.

Don't worry, it is definitely that problem with the Y mail server - we are still getting emails by the hundred at work - I have just spent an hour clearing my in-box of them!
