During this time of transition to your new boards, may I suggest you take a gander at the American boards.?
Something to do, while you wait...
We have a couple of boards for current events, politics & general chat, and more specialized boards for those interested in Antiques, Art, Books, Music, Photography, Jewelry, Coins. etc.,
Welcome one & all...:-)

Thank you for the invitation.
Do they have a group for mad old biddies, those that have nothing better to do than chat, knit, sew, do crafts of many kinds, like animals, chocolate, wine and complaining about their aches and pains? 🙂
If so, there may be a few takers.
Or, if you have a group of handsome toy boys (must be rich) there is a particular lady woman I know who would be very interested.B-)

The few I looked at were pretty serious! There are loads of boards though so perhaps some are light hearted & friendly.:-)

I wouldn't think so Maggie, that was a bit tongue in cheek really.;-)

Hi Merlin,
Believe it or not, I'm posting with a 'Geordie' accent..:^O
I've been exiled over here for close to 40 years, and I still have my brogue..just not so strong as it used to be..:-x
09-07-2013 5:00 PM
seems i'm a very misunderstood person:|
:^O Wilson
i can only imagine how a geordie accent is perceived
but if they can understand you, i shall have no problems!

Merlin, :^O
You will have no trouble, my ex-husband was Scottish, raised in the Glasgow Gorbels,,(sp?) and as I recall he never needed a translator..:-D
Actually, over the years I have been accused of being either German or Irish, but never a Geordie..;-)
