Wearing my Cat onesie, goodness me it's warm, been out in the arctic blasts of sea air at Milford and was toasty warm. Prolly looked a plonker, but don't care, it's lovely and warm

You'll be warm!

just tried it on, lovely and warm but I look like a little barrel on legs in it, definitely for wearing in the house only!

Aw bless your socks, I bet you're being too hard on yourself there. I'm 13 stone and 53 years old and wore mine out for a walk (it's a cat suit, complete with tail). Got beeped and waved at. Had enormous fun! Immaturity is wasted on the young.

I did have a onesie and I did wear it once and the hood did go into the toilet and I did throw it away :).

well, its so cold tonight that I am going to sleep in my onesie ( and socks, and hat, and maybe even gloves) but will take great care with the hood and the pan!

I've never fancied a onesie.
It's cold here at the moment as well Myra but I bet it isn't cold as where you are. I tend to sleep with cotton sheets on the bed plus my winter duvet plus a big crocheted blanket folded in two. I'm as warm as toast in bed.

Books, I'm a total wimp with the cold, maybe because I'm small (skinny), just never seem to be able to get warm no matter how many layers I wear. I also use cotton sheets and have a decent duvet but still shiver, in the winter it takes me longer to get dressed for bed than it does in the mornings. I used to take one of my previous dogs to bed with me and she was great for staying warm, but my present dogs can't manage the stairs - if it gets much colder I will be in the dog bed downstairs with them.

I admit that I do have some fat to keep me warm but I still feel the cold. I'm not as bad as my mum though as she really feels the cold. She's on warfarin so that makes her feel colder. I think though that in winter I normally sleep better as it's colder and I love snuggling up in bed.

It would be too cold here for a summer duvet. I remember about three or four years ago, we went to Torquay for a long weekend at the end of January. On the way back, we had to drop some people off at Sandbach services on the M6. You could feel how much colder it was up here than it was down in your neck of the woods ed. Whilst we were in Torquay, we went on a trip to Dawlish and the weather was so nice that we had a coffee sitting outside the cafe having our drinks.

Pah, you lightweight. I've just been round Carmarthen shopping in mine. It's a lot easier wearing one layer than being like OH in vest, t-shirt, shirt, jumper, fleece and coat! He could hardly move his arms. Okay, there's the small mater of the pointing and whispering from the children, but I rather relish being the mad old woman

No I definitely would not even buy a onesie.
It is cold here at the moment but it doesn't seem quite as cold as it has been. According to the Met Office website, we could have temperatures of 11 or 12 degrees. At the this time of the year, I'll quite willingly accept that.

Have just put my new Micky Mouse onesie on after a bath! Looks ok but the body seems a bit long on me so the bit that should be between the legs is around my knees making walking around a bit difficult. Don't think I will be going outside in it, but lovely and warm for sleeping etc.
