no, but I've bought a box of chocklits as a Christmas present.

have you noticed they've gone smaller than last year too Ed? only 740gms I think, I'm sure they were 980gm last year.

OH just noms them if I get some too early. I can't (shouldn't) have them.embarrassed-smiley.gif

September payday is the time OH and I invade Aldi and buy all the Christmas goodies - they have an impressive range of continental goodies but they quickly sell out and there's only the junk stuff left - oh, and a few bottles of whisky, gin and Calvados to was it down with of course...

FWIW, I've made all my Christmas cards for this year too

what's FWIW? is fick........

I often buy stuff for Christmas early on, tinned stuff and bits and bobs that will sell out quick. I love Aldi Christmas stuff, OH loves their chocklit, and I have a friend who loves marzipan, which they sell in fancy wrappings. I bought her tons of it last year.

So this is the time of the year I tip away the left over ones from last year? The end of the Easter eggs might as well go too. I like those red ball things with the gooey centres though.

I am not buying any tins of sweets or anything of that matter until Christmas. No need to buy it all now as you send a lot more.
