New Years Eve...what will you be doing....if anything

So what will you be doing, if anything, on new years eve.

My friend has his boys until new years day, for a change, so the three of them, plus my son and I will be going out for a meal at the local Harvester. The boys all love Harvester as they can have as much salad and visits to the drinks bar as they like.

I always find it good value and always come away feeling completely full.

We shall get back at about 9pm so I shall drop my friend off at his house and we will come back home. I shall have a bath and hope to keep awake to see the fireworks in London on the TV.

All my hoovering and laundry will have already been done so no housework needs to be done on new years day itself.

Then...............it is back to reality 😞

In case I dont get back onto the boards again then I will take this opportunity to wish all my new friends on here a very happy new year.

Hubby and I have had a day out in Ipswich today. Had a nice lunch and walk about then home. I'm playing on tablet, son gone to bed, cats asleep, kitten going mad with a roll of sellotape and hubby on computer. Just eaten a mini Christmas pudding.

Hope that everyone has a good 2014.  Must admit that this year has been lousy for me with one thing and another but I'm seriously hoping that things will improve in the new year.

I think OH is struggling a bit...he's not planning the meals well, he can't crack an egg properly and instead of bringing it to me to put in the bowl for him, he got it all over the top and the floor. tonight he opened the cupboard and he hadn't put the raisins back properly and the glass container fell onto his sandwiches and broke the dining plate!!!

He's now got a wee bit grumpy because I asked if we had any nibbles, which he hasn't bought any of...so I've got me choc brazils but you can't eat many of those can you.

He's sat beside me here not looking very happy ..............ooops..............

Mines been a bit like that tonight CB, give him a minute and he will fall asleep, I think you might be able to hear mine from there, snoring his head off he is bless him.

We had planned to go out with friends but i wasnt well enough to go ,    so we had a quite night in , watched a movie with a kfc takeaway , enjoyed the fireworks going off all around us some  folks must have spent serious money on them 🙂
