Its probably my own fault,,,i had some cold Maltesers last night,, went to bed and had toe curling TOOTHACHE AGAIN!!!!!!!!. I dont believe it. I dont know if its the bit thats left in my gum(although its not showing) is sore or its the big tooth at the back now. Im telling myself for now it could be sensitivity perhaps or where my gum is still not strong enough. I can barely bite on the tooth at the back which is the one next to toothy i had out. I was cryin out last night something was causing bad pain again. Im going to see how it is today and tonight and then i will have to go back to the dentist if the pain continues. Its been six weeks since i had the extraction. Ohhh lawd. i was telling my friend it was fine the day before yesterday and now this!!!. Ill see how it is over the next few days.Woman Sad

I'm getting toothache with my back, lower tooth, Rose. It's a big tooth that I really do need to keep, seeing as that is the side that
I chew on (have none at the other side on the bottom!) I'm putting off going back to the dentist though, as root canal has been mentioned and I'm a coward when it comes to that!

Hope your toothache eases soon, Rose. (((((Squishes)))))

Thank you Carol,,,its ok at the moment and i have taken some precautionary Pain Tablets. i know its not unusual for a tooth next to an extracted one to have a sensitive time or two. Im SICK of my teeth. As soon as i get rid of one problem something else starts up... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrowl. Ughhhhhh i dunno,,,the joys of getting older.heart

Don't I know it! It's a pity you can't have teeth out and they grow again! I have a partial denture for the top and I can't get used to it at all. I don't want anymore out, but neither do I want toothache, LOL xxxx Think I'll go have some more chocolate, see if it eases it xx

Oh yes it would be good if for every tooth you lost another would grow in its place and then carried on doing that all through your life!!!. LOL,LOL. I fully admit i have a VERY sweet tooth,. Im like a small child where sweets are concerned, cannot resist. LOL.Woman Happy

I am with you both, I have awful teeth, I also have a small denture with 2 teeth on it but it is rubbish so I don't wear it,  Sadly the condition of my teeth is put down to , pardon the pun, my sweet tooth.

So children if you are listening don't eat sweets.....................  give them all to me.

Rose I meant to say, have you tried swilling it with salt water it might help, especially if you have a hole or gap in the other tooth.

Luke warm water mind, otherwise you will be hanging off the ceiling.

I thank you everyone, awwwww. ED i did actually get up that night and swill with plain warm water and it went away and then in the morning i did it with salt water. Im going to do some more rinses with the salt. I did last night and it was ok but i can feel pain lower under my jaw again exactly like it was before i had the tooth out. I may have just chewed and shook my back tooth a bit, and where its still maybe suffering after having his little friend next door out maybe its just a bit sore. The gum is quite low on the side where his friend was taken out so it could be the gum needs to tighten a bit still after extraction. Im not eating any more toffee,, not hard anyways. Im going to have to eat softer things.

A dentist i had before told me i was susceptable to getting pain in my jaw with chewing meat say or even yawning and i have to be careful. Bit like Neuralgia i suppose. This is definately the tooth i think though.

ILL JUST KEEP MY JAWS SHUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...... DONT SAY ANYTHING LOL,,, i know what you might be thinking??. Only kidding ya.Woman Happy

I've made an appt with the dentist for next week.; been given the very appropriate time of 2-30!! Ive decided I'm only putting it off by not going, as the toothache is persisting, so better see about it, root canal or not.......!

How is your toothache now, Rose?

Well i took antibiotics before i had the extraction as she thought there was infection. Well there is that bit of root left in as i said before but dentist said it should not cause any problems. Im going to see how it is over the weekend and then go next week. Its stopped hurting but then i have not eaten anything too hard or chewy. BLOOMIN FANGS,,, i hate them LOL.

Ohh im glad your going,, its best to get it seen to Carol, dont suffer please. I know what you mean about Root Canal, you have to sit there for ages as it takes a long time. They put that clip thing round your tooth aswell dont they and it hurts even though you have the numbing stuff. Mine has stopped but i have been being careful about what i eat. if it hurts any more im going to go to dentist again in the week and let her take a look at it. If its not one thing its another eh Carol?. Ive had a Migraine yesterday and today too,,grrrrr aaahhhhhh. Im going to scream LOL.

A friend of mine had a bit of root left in & it was touching a nerve. She had to have it removed under general anesthetic as the pain was unbearable!

Ohhhh dont ,,i have thought of that myself ha ha ha LOL. Dentist said thet the one she took out but left a bit of root in has no nerve now??. I think its the (wisdom i think) one at the back next to it now. My teeth are ever so sensitive though. If i dont use sensitive toothpaste for a couple of days all my teeth start hurting!!!. Why do i have to have funny parts given to me in my body??. Looool,,looool,, at least im still laughing.Woman LOL
