My Brother Has Died

Got the very sad news that my Brother died this evening. As some of you will know, he had a fall in November and it left him paralysed from the chest down; he has had 3 heart attacks since and been in hospital all that time. He had a pacemaker fitted last week and we were all hopeful that he had turned the corner. I had a lovely birthday card ready for his 65th birthday next month and now he won't get to see it. Very, very sad day.

Thank you for your condolences everyone. I don't think anyone could have fought harder than Steve these last few months, he fought everything that was thrown at him, but I guess his poor body couldn't take any more. He's at peace now.

What a difference between this site and Facebook. I put a message on F.B. to say my Brother had died. Not one of my friends/family on there have offered me their condolences and yet they can find the time to invite me to play Candy Crush etc ! Think they have got their priorities wrong. Thanks again to you lovely peeps on here. Your sentiments have been a big comfort to me xxxx

I will do CB. Thinking of coming off of F.B. anyway as I never play the games, don't even know how to. Each to their own, I suppose! There is going to be a post mortem on Steve, so the funeral is delayed.

It's a fact I'm afraid you always find out who your friends really are at times like this, although to be fair we Brits never know how to act or what to say either , no excuse I know but it's very often the case. I feel for you at this sad time, most of us I'm sure have been through it so know how you are feeling. Once again my condolences !. Sandra.
