Christmas eve i gave my Gran a visit  as she is on her own and 78 years of age ,  but now wishing i hadn't bothered !! I did go and look and found I had even responded to a thread of some 3 years plus in the archives.  Gave meself a bit of a larf.

@funk4909  Giving things another perspective, in case this is more applicable for others, if not for yourself, given that scenario, I think I would have concerns as to whether the  aged relative was developing some form of dementia and that it would be more construcitve, not to mention loving, to try and seek some kind of help or assessment before things get too bad.

Remember, but for her, your existence would simply not be.
