Miss Grey.

Im just making an observation really all but an infuriating one a bit!!!. Why is it after colouring my hair Pale Blonde i can still see they GREY AT THE FRONT SIDES???.

I know they say you have to go darker to get rid of grey but i do not want too. I have just stood in my bathroom painstakingly slathering Hair Colour on my grey bits,,,,. I wash it out and you can still see them!!. AAArrrrggghhhhhh. WELL,,i suppose at least i have hair and should be thankful. Oh what we do to try and stay looking Beautiful. I SAID TRY YES!!!!!!!!!!!. LOOOOL>

I have never dyed my hair I'm a brunette but have often wondered because I have green eyes & very light skin if I dare go blonde, but am not brave enough to attempt it, as to the grey bits I'm lucky & up to now don't really suffer as yet, but am interested in what you have to say for future reference . Sam.

hi i colour mine to cover grey but i also remember that not all hair colours cover grey hair as the texture is different so you have to get the right one.

My hair is natural brown with grey highlights ...until my next hairdressing appointment anyway then it will hopefully just be brown LOL

I once went blonde & liked it but its high maintenance !

Lol , very good! I think it depends on what colour the grey is don't you, I saw a lady the other day & she had really Silver grey bits in her hair, & very pretty it was too if I may say!

 I was totally white at 16...& it is very pretty...but I have been pale pink all over for years -

I go every 4 weeks... & have 3 different pinks in to make the colour that is ' mine ' alone

It was a fine summers day,in the days when we still had them.....

I decided that I was too young to go grey so invested in,what I thought, was a subtle mid brown,not cheap dye...

Did the strand test....perfick

Entered the bathroom with hope shining in my eyes...

carefully wrapped the old(ish) towel around my shoulders and began.....

applied hegzackerly as instructed....timed to perfection the shortest recommended time...

rinsed...looked in mirror with slight concern as it looked a tad dark...but that's because it's wet right?

blow dried hair and transformed..... into Snape's Sister...

Cue great wailing and gnashing of teef...and liberal applications of lemon juice,vinegar,industrial strength bleach...

Needless to say it caused great hilarity on these 'ere boards so I am now a super sexy silver fox..*coff*

Oh my word! That is why I've never dare do it ! With my luck I'd have gone green to match my eyes, the visitors from Mars is not a good look! lol.
