Oh dear.  Mike Smith has died.

He was a DJ and husband of Blue Peter's Sarah Green.

He was only 59.

He died in hospital with complications after heart surgery I think saasher.

I seem to remember both of them in a very bad accident years and years ago.  It could even have been a small plane.  I think it took one or the other months and months to recover.

On 10 September 1988 Greene and her partner Mike Smith (television and radio presenter) were seriously injured in a helicopter accident in Gloucestershire. The couple spent a number of weeks in hospital before Greene returned to present Going Live! while still in plaster.[2][3] Soon after the accident the couple became engaged and married the following year.

Yes I remember that, how sad ,so young, they always seemed to be a well suited couple how truly devastating for her!.
