Meet Mr Tweet's New Friend

Bought another Budgie this morning Got him in a temporary cage until he settles in, he's still a bit nervous; will introduce him to Tweet in a day or so. I'm calling him SKY due to his lovely colouring and the white band across his chest looks like a cloud. Hope the Tweeters will welcome him to FHG. xx

Tweet was at the other end of the cage, CB; probably keeping out of the way in case he got fed some more sand, ha,ha.

Sky is looking like a handsome little chap.  Fancy him trying to feed sand to Mr Tweet.  I'm glad that they seem to be hitting it off a bit more now.

He's one confused little fella ain't he, he's either trying to poison Mr Tweet or he thinks Mr Tweets a girl ? lol.

Given the cage and toys a good clean today; Sky is sat on the new toy again, glad he's using it, it cost enough. As long as he doesnt do anything on it, as its not really washable!

I think their getting Romantic!!!!!!. Awwwwww thats a lovely toy,,i never seen one like that before!!. Sky is quite unusual in his colouring he has the blue a bit underneath but his wings are quite grey aren"t they?. Hes lovely. Glad hes being nice to our lovely Tweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. They will sing away too each other!!!!!.

Yes, Tilly seems ok today thanks; owners of epi-pets can never really relax and we tend to be light sleepers, always listening out in case of fits. That's how I was with Poppy too.

As for Tweet and Sky, they are still amusing me. Sky was eating his Trill and Tweet looked so indignant, he was strutting up and down on the perch behind Sky, with his chest puffed out and it was as though he was thinking, "Oy, that's MY Trill, get off!" Going to put the cover over their cage now, birdy bed-time, I think. Sky has been offering Tweet some more sand! As if he hasn't enough with lead in his gizzard

My back is still bad, Sam, but thanks for asking. Tilly has just had a nice walk, she seems well and bright enough in herself. Still a worry though. Epilepsy in my dogs is the one illness I dread, having seen what it did to Poppy. I'm a bit surprised and disappointed to find Tweet has another bald patch on his chest; hope he isnt stressed out with Sky screeching at him and feeding him bits of sand, LOL Hope you are ok?

Sorry to hear you are no better, although i don't have back trouble on the odd occasion I've jarred it through work I know how rotten it is. Also sorry to hear my little buddy has a bald patch again.
I'm fine thanks in fact apart from being tired I'm full of beans. lol.

Maybe it is just something that Tweet will have a problem with, it's a shame because he just grows the feathers back, then gets a bald patch again. Sky has quietened down abit now, for the night; been really noisy today.

Hello Tweet and Sky!!!!.. What are you bein nosey about little man Sky??. Hes telling Tweet hes happy i think!!!. He sounds a friendly little fella!. Tweet is probably set in his ways a bit eh?. Hope Tilly is staying well and is a bit brighter Carol??. Ohhh dear animals are a worry because we love them so!!

Unfortunately my back is still bad, thanks for asking. Ive seen the optician this week and he said maybe seeing a private Physiotherapist would help.

Tilly is doing ok, but was scared this afternoon when I took her for a walk as bird scarers kept going off, blooming things! I suppose we'll have these for a wfew weeks now, then it will be fireworks; all such things can trigger a fit.

Sky wouldnt have a bath today, I was hoping he would so I could post a picture of him in it.

Tweet has bee ntalking (and swearing) a bit more today, so hopefully he is closer to accepting Sky now.

Hope that Tilly doesn't have anymore fits 'cos it mustn't be nice.  I see that Tweet is back to swearing again.  I wonder if Sky will follow suit.

Tweet your likin your little friend more now. Hes not that bad,, and now you have someone to Twitter and Sing too and talk the worl to rights with. Bit like your mum and me!!!!. Only im not gonna Sing to you Carol you might get scared!!!!. LOL. Im glad ive got a day away from the cleaning job,, its getting gutty and im fed up. Its neverending cleaning not very satisfying!.
