Meet Mr Tweet's New Friend

Bought another Budgie this morning Got him in a temporary cage until he settles in, he's still a bit nervous; will introduce him to Tweet in a day or so. I'm calling him SKY due to his lovely colouring and the white band across his chest looks like a cloud. Hope the Tweeters will welcome him to FHG. xx

Yorkasso; (Yorkie x Lhasa Apso) She's 6, Sam. First had a fit in Dec 2011, followed by 3 in 2012; the vet thuoght she had a virus. Then I haven't seen her have another fit until this Saturday night. (Doesn't mean she hasnt had any of course.)  Just hope she doesnt have as many as Poppy did. But at least if she does need medication at some point, there is always the new drug, Pexion, to try.

Well- the Budgies are getting closer, but I wish Tweet would hurry up and accept Sky, then Sky might not make that raucous racket in Tweet's face, LOL  Bless 'em At least Tweet is playing more now and talking (and swearing occasionally.) I can guess what Sky's first word is going to be if he ever talks. I think Tweet was nearly 8 months old before he spoke.

Very worrying for you Carol, what form does the fit take, ie staring eyes ,stiff, & trembling & how long does it last for, are you taking her to the vet?

I only ask because& I don't want to alarm you at all ,but constant fitting can put a strain on the heart ,so it does need sorting sooner rather than later!.

I keep thinking Tilly is a Jack Russell for some reason,,i think its CGs dog thats on my mind and that MOLLY!!!!. Carol i love Lhasas their so sweet. can you get a picture of her up,,we have not seen Tilly have we?. Tilly please get well!!!!. Hope shes ok Carol??. Love to Tilly!!.

And Tweet and Sky,,i hope their being good,,,no fightin cos your mum has Tilly too worry over today!!!. You have to be good birds both of you now!!!!.

Afternoon Tweeters.  Hope that Tilly is feeling better today Carol.  

It's good to see that Tweet and Sky are getting closer.  I bet Tweet will teach Sky a few choice words in time.

Tilly looks good today; thank you all for our concern.

Not taking her to the vets yet, Sam; been through it all with Poppy and I dont want Tilly on medication any sooner than I have to. If she has another fit, then I'll probably take her, but last time, he said to just monitor her. The fit involves glazed eyes and stiffness and her body shakes; very similar to Poppy, except she used to "rear up." Problems, problems!

As for Tweet and Sky - Sky has had a bath!! Don't think Tweet can fit in it anymore thats why he uses it as a toilet, LOL AND they have been doing a little dance, and been pretending to feed each other. I think they have made a breakthrough today.

I'm glad that Tilly has been better today Carol.  It sounds like Tweet and Sky are finally getting on well.

I keep trying to get on with knitting for our January arrival but my left thumb is beginning to play up a bit.  Never mind.  It won't fall off - I hope.

Glad Tilly is a bit better Carol,,it cant be nice to see your dog fitting. She is a lovely our Tilly!!!.

Sky having a bath,,,Tweet did not wee in it beforehand i hope?,,,when you were saying about him using it as a toilet?,,,LOL. It seems their relationship is slowly blossoming?. Awwww.

No, Rose, Tweet used it as a toilet afterwards, LOL Sky is still trying to feed Tweet, its so comical. Sky pulls a bit of sand off the sand sheet and offers it to Tweet, bless him. Will have to put a new photo on later, of Sky on the new toy.

aaww wow! look at the lovely toys in their cage. Sky looks very happy there on that ball. They are so sweet aren't they? Where's Tweet? has he gone out for the shopping?
