Me holiday's gone!!!!!!

well, that's it then, where have those 9 days gone???? but I really enjoyed this time off, OH has been a joy to be with, we've had a few picnics out and got a lot done in the house....happy.

I have had a lovely time Captain, same as you, done lots in the house, don't know about OH being a joy, bless him he just took me out to buy my birthday present, ha the toaster broke this morning, so we bought a new one, not a cheapie like the last four times a very nice one, and as our kettle is old he said I yes I could have a new one to match the toaster, for my birthday, ha! you can imagine what I said.  I don't go back until next Thursday as I was roped in to work Friday night into Saturday as we have one off sick and one on holiday, and as there are only 5 of us it leaves us a bit short,    overstaffed my **** .  Never mind free buffet next week.  One value vol-au-vent and a pickled onion.

My next holiday is from the 7th June for 2 weeks this time.

we never get the free buffet, as it's always set up for lunch time. We did once have the OK from a manager to have a free breakfast instead which was good of them, but not now.

I finish at 12 now so I suppose I could go up and have some if they're serving then....but I can't be bothered, it's not as if it's nice, it's the same old, same old

Yup, we always miss it as we finish at 11 but no one ever offers us anything anyway, it's all a load of codswallop designed to keep us sweet.

I wonder how Fishy enjoyed her holiday down in my neck of the woods,  I  said it would be sunny.

We are flat out busy til the weekend.. then i have a week off!

We work for the same company, different departments, different countries.

Only 2 days left then I am back booo hooo.

I'm in Wales Sam, and Ed is down south in England.....

I'd like to work in the same store as Ed though....I think we could have a laugh...

but I'd never get home in time for me tea.....

Ed, I loved my time in your part of the country, as I always do, I would love to live there.  I had

a wonderful time swimming in the sea and the sea-pool at Bude, I saw my friend who I met

when I was about 9 and we had a lovely chat and tea together overlooking Westward Ho! beach,

then had a walk about taking photos.  The hardest part was wrenching myself away but it

was made easier by my son, hubby and cats waiting for me at home.

I did open my car window as I passed your neck of the woods Ed, thinking just maybe a bit

of cake would come flying in!

Last day today, back to work tomorrow,  on my own tomorrow, so I hope some messages have been left so I know what the dickens is going on.  Roll on 6th June, have 2 weeks holiday then, should I say 18 days. Woo hoo.
