Marmite (other yeast extracts are available) Love it or hate it ?

I don't understand all this 'love it or hate it stuff'  Like a lot of things, it's ok, I don't love it or hate it.  Every now and again I'll have some on toast but not that often.

One of my dogs loves it the other hates it and spits it out if its on her little bit of toast.

As CB, buttered toast with marmite & a sprinkling of fine black pepper........lovely

Me.............I absolutely love Marmite - more often than not I like a snack about 9pm and then it will be Marmite on toast.

When I was pregnant I had a craving for bacon but after he was born for months my craving was Marmite - 3-4 times a day.

Not so keen on Vegimite though

I like Marmite, yet I hate the taste of salt!

That's not the only such contradiction either; I hate vinegar but I like mint sauce...

Funny you should say that Peter, I love marmite but hate salt.

Stan I have marmite on bread or toast but much prefer bovril to drink. But a spoon of either in a stew or casserole is nice.

Love it, but Mrs WSK hates it. Made my day when our granddaughter who now lives with us started eating my toast and marmite!
