Today I organised a bake off in work for MacMillans World's Biggest Coffee Morning
lots of us made fancy cakes then sold or auctioned them off
here is my entry ..................don't laugh
I came third ...........................
but what I thought you'd really like to know is thet we raised ................................wait for it.....................drum roll please.........
a whopping £4,562.83p
am so proud of everyone who joined in or paid for the creations

Can I just say, thank you all. I could give you cancer statistics until they're coming out of my ears - have done a lot of research. What your money does is fund the most amazing, dedicated scientists whose purpose is not only to find cures for all these different cancers, but to find out what causes them. They are amazing.
Every penny helps. Every penny, so think about that, every time you give a pound or whatever, you are helping some wee girl or boy or some man or woman who are going through an earth shattering experience. I have been humbled by the courage of some of the people I have met, who are going through worse than me.
Unfortunately, my cancer is a bit under researched but I know a man called John (who lives locally) I see at the clinic and he's the record holder - he's lived for 13 years - and that is all down to the pound you put in the wee tin.
Today, statistically, more people survive cancer than die from it - that too is from YOU and the money you donate 
well done Mrs Stan, your cake looks fabulous, and what an amount to raise!
