By my reckoning it should be MDCC time this Sunday...

I'll be listing for Days for Girls (see Maggie and Dairy's soap thread for details), YCR, Chaldon and Postpals.

Well i didn't get round to listing this month but my bidding finger has been well and truly flexed :^O

This is only my opinion but I think what might be putting people off is that there are almost as many listings NOT for charities are there are for ! Search for MDCC and 213 results show up and only 111 are in the UK for the charities listing.

Could it be time to think up a new logo to deter people jumping on the bandwagon that are NOT selling on behalf of charities ?

as instead of are between charities and are ^^^^^^^^^^^^^

that might be an idea but also if when you go on mdcc and then click auction it gets rid of a lot of the others as they are BIN.:-)

I think that whatever "flag" you came up with, folks would quickly cotton on and jump on the bandwagon.

maybe they would but could a flag code type thing become an agreement where it gets changed every so often just to deter them and maybe they would eventually leave the charity flag alone. Like a couple of months use A flag then B flag and so on and so on/

Sorry not to be in this months MDCC but having our first bric-a-brac stall for years next weekend so lots to do and organise.

Just going to say that. It's the simple solution.:-) It has been MDCC for many years now & it would be a shame to mess with it. Just search UK only & there isn't a problem.:-D

Maybe it is because every time I voice an opinion in here I get spoken to like I am an idiot ! or maybe it is because when I post a topic wishing someone that has issues well for today the button gets pushed on me !

Maybe even because someone overseas like Belgium or Germany or the Republic of Ireland might want to list for MDCC and when someone clicks on UK only those listings will not show.

As I said earlier out of here now so no need to voice my opinion on any matters.

But we're not all like that, please stay 🙂 you have every right to voice your opinion. I do agree though that certain peeps on here need a few lessons in manners and how to actually speak to people, some come over as very condescending and very patronising of which there is no need.

i agree with you patch but can also see corgie's point of view that if people in Ireland etc list for mdcc we would eliminate there items in our search

NI is in the UK. I don't think any MDCC'ers are in Eire. I was just saying that searching UK only takes away all the US listings.:-( That's how I do it.
