I dare hardly admit, ...........OK it's a designer dog but it ticked all the boxes. We just went and got her, she's 8 weeks old.

Good morning.
We all just about survived the first night! I left her in her crate in the kitchen. Lottie was in her bed, also in the kitchen. Molly howled for 40 mns. But I expected it. But before you all say what a horrible mummy, what was the point of going back only to leave again five minutes later? That would go on all through the night. It was still all quiet at 6am when hubby got up and when I got up at 8am she was quiet and in her bed in the crate with the door open. I truly think that tonight she'll only howl for ten or fifteen minutes and in a few days I don't expect her to cry at all.
The toilet training hasn't actually started yet. Well, perhaps it has but she hasn't noticed. She does it as soon as you're not looking, then it's 'hunt the *%$*^' because you know it's there somewhere!!
She's had a bath this morning, she wasn't keen on that, she thought I was trying to drown her, but she's having a nap now.
Clean girl again, even though still a bit damp!

I can see why you fell for her. I am not one for small dogs but she is lovely.

Is she a collie, ed? They're the most intelligent dogs aren't they. I like those too but I couldn't have given it the exercise it needs. The elderly woman across the road had one and it used to go mad racing round and round her smallish garden. She now has two young lurchers and they're a bit hyper.

Half collie, half springer, double the trouble, very clever and is always on the go, but an absolute joy, she has about three hours of walking exercise a day and then she is always up for playtime.

Our next door neighbours have a black border collie and she's soft and hyper. She's a love though and always wants a fuss.
Molly really suits your puppy CG.
