Just wondering how come you all know each others names

Just wondering really when I read some of the threads on this board many of you use each other's first names.....have you met each other in real life or just "met" through the boards. I am relatively new to FHG - having started to join in in about October last year although I have been a user of Ebay for over 10 years with nearly 2000 sales. I use this posting ID as I don't want to use my "proper" account to advertise my good in case somebody takes offence and wants to trash my account (which has been known to happen) even though my "proper" account is really my old craft stuff, my sons stuff and used books.

You all appear to be ladies as well.

Any information about how you met etc etc then I would be most interested to hear.

For your information I am also a girly type - real name Jane but mostly sign off as Tintin as that is the name of my cat (who at present is sitting on my knee and purring like a goodun)

my name is unusual and as most people can't pronounce it properly I end up saying "just call me Daisy" (I love coo's) so it's stuck!

I tend to use peeps Ebay I.D's when posting on here but do use real names when I have met up with posters and of course when I PM .

I consider most people on here friends and find it nice to be able to put a real name to person wether I use it at anytime or not.

That's the thing, not only do we not always know whether a poster is male or female, black or white, however religion goes, is it Christian or Muslim or however you say the difference, but we all speak to each other as one 'human being' to another.  No bias or hidden agendas for any reason, we either agree with their view point or we don't, it's as simple as that. 😄

My real name isn't hidden..  As far as I know, I'm just me & if someone wants to find out about me, well, I'm not hiding anything I don't think - & certainly nothing interesting!!

I love the fact that we all speak to each other on a level, & I enjoy the images I construct :^O
