Writing some Christmas cards. My mum wants to know who invented Christmas - they want their heads examining!! I don't think that my mum likes writing Christmas cards. I mean, I do write quite a lot of them as well so it's not as if she's doing them all by herself now is it? Must admit, I don't like writing them either but we aren't posting any yet. We got our first Christmas card today from one of my cousins. I'll take bets that this particular cousin sends her Christmas cards out round the 25th or 26th of November.
Has anyone else written their cards yet?

Only 3 so far, South Africa, Australia and USA. written and posted, so they have plenty of time to get there.
The rest can wait for another couple of weeks, only have about 7 to post the rest will be hand delivered in the middle of the night.

I've received two so far; couldn't believe it when the first one arrived yesterday (from a penpal in the UK!) Earliest I've had one. Have posted one to my Cousin overseas. Got over 70 to write out, thankfully only about 30 need stamps on them.

We have a few that need stamps as I have family all over the country. Also, we have to send a couple to friends as well.

My money goes like vapour

on this nice toilet paper

Likes all the rhymes.
I agree with you Stan. When you think as to the cost of Christmas cards these days and then the cost of sending them even second class. The cost of the stamps far outweighs the cost of the cards.

I've trimmed the card list down severly this year, I had about 30 to send. I posted them yesterday with a shed load of packages...cost me over £22 and that was without the card stamps, I already had them and I still have one more parcel to send to the USA. It's been a dear do this year.
I don't like writing cards it's very time consuming. I do send e-cards too.
