I am not saying people on here are boring! lol It's just that the people who got us all fired up are gone now! I don't have much interesting stuff to say either! lol

I'm still a newbie but I've enjoyed the posts, & yes it is quiet but with the children being off school, the exceptional weather , holidays etc it is understandable, I know myself I've been quite busy at work & have been working some strange hours, but I often come on the boards sometimes in the early hours believe me it's bloomin quiet at three in the morning! lol.

I suppose we are comparing it with what it was like a couple of years ago. You would have to scroll back many pages to see the previous days posts. It's changed but it's still a nice place to be.:)

Yes, I like it on here as well.  We all may be a bit or rather a lot mad but I like to think that we are all good friends even though the majority of us haven't met in real life.

Some have had no choice but to leave though, they've been bp'd into oblivion just because some people can't take others having an opinion of their own at least on FB you can be yourself & everyone (or most) agree to differ.

I don't know any of the ones mentioned above that have had to leave so I must have missed something quite spicey I think.  I am afraid I don't have time for facebook as well,  I have never had it although my OH has, but he has just some off it as he was getting bored.  I think a lot happens on facebook between people on here and then they come on here and have a conversation about something and it doesn't make sense if you haven't got facebook.  I wont be going on facebook though as with running a house, working, my crafting , walking the dogs, looking after parents, visiting friends and going out, I really don't have time.

I agree I also don't have Facebook or Twitter or whatever,, I have my private phone , work, & a pager& to be quite honest even that's too much for me! I also agree with Gina on here if we don't agree it's not taken personally on the RT it can get quite nasty, there are exceptions I know but on the whole on here it' runs as it should do!

I have a new lappy that's Windows 8 and it's sooooo slow, it drives me nuts.

I tried to refresh the laptop tonight thinking it would speed things up.....

I lost Firefox and Thunderbirds

OH has downloaded Firefox but we can't find the password for Thunderbirds so he'll sort it out tomorrow.....

Captain - I find that Google Chrome runs better than Firefox, my Firefox keeps going on strike and I have to re-start the pooter.

This new lappie is definitely slower than my previous one, and Windows 8 takes a lot of getting used to.
