I googled! ‘Spanish Plume’ is actually a rather catchy name for a rather complex meteorological phenomenon which leads to warm conditions and heavy showers or thunderstorms over parts of the UK and north-west Europe. More rain then, just warmer.
The first few days of the plume are usually rather dry and sunny with temperatures of about 30°C though... 🙂
I'll keep an eye on the jetstream forecast over the next few days and see if the system remains in it.

jeez numptz...I've snorted out of every orifice...give us a bit of warning...I can't just laugh like that with no repercussions IYKWIM
