I am amazed.
I sent "him indoors" in to the city centre with a list of errands.
He came back with the buttons that I asked for, correct colour, colour size.
He sorted out the exchange of a gift item from Boots (it arrived damaged), the item I wanted was internet only, so he arranged for it to be available for pick-up from the branch in the local shopping centre on Monday.
The toy that I wanted from M&S was out of stock, so again he arranged for it to be ordered to be picked up in store next week.
He actually managed all 3 errands - perhaps there is hope after all.

Tell him he is a traitor! We get errands wrong deliberately so we don't get sent again!

It's spooky when men get it right. It's not natural is it!! I hope he's not sickening for something.

Crikey....well done to your OH.
I have just finished reading a book called SCHOOL FOR HUSBANDS...really funny read and this is just the sort of problems that the book covered....perhaps your OH has been to this school LOL.
Recommended read if you want a good laugh - author Wendy Holden.

Wow, that is good! My hubby went to the bakers for some bread the other
day and came back without any bread. When he went back to get it, he put
it in his car and took it to work!
And I was waiting for toast!

I sent my hubby for a pint of milk. I told him, if they have bananas, get 6.
He came back with 6 pints of milk.
I asked him why, he said 'They had bananas'.

Aaawww you have to admit Stroppy, it is unusual for them to get it right. my OH will only manage 2 out of 3 items if I ask him to get anything.
the trouble I have with him though is that he's forever buying "bargains"! if he goes out to get a few bits from the supermarket, I wonder what he'll bring back next!!!

I'm lucky in the fact that I've never had the problems that you ladies have as I have never had an other half.

That was what was so unusual Captain - mine is just like yours, comes back with anything and everything except what he was sent for. He finds some excuse to go to the supermarket almost every day and always come back with "bargains" - always paid for on MY credit card.

Sometimes they do surprise us. Mine went off to do a few errands first thing. I had to book a docs appointment and was offered 9.30. When I said he'd gone off with the car promising to be back at 9.00 the receptionist changed the appointment to 10.50. When did he get back? - 08.30. Men!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
