Hi. Not been around for a while. Trying to sell my house in London, and move up to Scotland, to be near my daughter. I've got a buyer for my flat and I've found my perfect house. But the frustrating part is now getting everything to move quickly. I can't put in an offer on the house I want until I've completed the sale of my flat. The laws in Scotland are different to English ones, when it comes to house buying.
I was very impressed when our central timer adjusted itself, when the clocks went back. I've already applied for my 'old gits'' bus pass. My driving licence came back yesterday with the new address on it.
To Captainbovine. I don't know what gave you the impression that I was a lady, or even female, for that matter. I know the guys wear skir....er....kilts up here. But I am definitely a bloke!
That's true goldcrest, you do have to earn one. The way you do that is catch a dozen haggis on a braw bricht moonlight nicht and as they are as rare as wild haggis it is nigh impossible.
I am sure since your arrival you have noticed it is dull, overcast or raining most nights.
