Chesil is flooded. The sirens went off last night & they have now closed the Chesil Beach Rd. Still blowing a gale & raining.

Lovely and sunny here, just a little breezy!
It needs to be really because they're still pulling houses off the beach that fell from the cliffs when there was the tidal surge a couple of months ago. They're trying to smarten up for the summer!!

I am just around the corner from you by the old OS site and a row of big old trees which are making me a little nervous today 😞

Old trees are usually ok with their leaves off - unless the "let's grow ivy up every tree, ivy doesn't hurt trees" brigade have had their way.

Not so windy here at the moment, what an awful night, When I got up for work there were wheelie bins and contents everywhere. I didn't put mine out, told OH to when he went out with the dogs, (no he wouldn't have done it on his own). The water was like a torrent going down the road,

Nope we are quite high up, and on a hill, not one that would collapse, more of a steep slope, so we are fine here, just exposed to the wind when it blows from the west and south. So we are quite safe here. My brother lives quite near the Somerset levels and he went down over the weekend to have a look and said it was awful. We have been there a few times and when we watch the TV we see where we walk with the dogs,or rather we don't see, it's all under water, so sad.

This is the only road to Portland. Usually protected by the Chesil Beach. Portland is an island again as it's the only road on & off!

Like the fabric. A small spot would be nice if you can find the right colour.

Oxton is only about 15mins by car
Maggie thats what i need something with a tiny print , i think maybe blue will be nicer than green as its for a boy 🙂
