That was cruel of me.  I'm in the same boat as you.  There was a reason I left for about eight months, but I am not prepared to divulge.  Let's just say I have been on other sites.  People remembered me for all the wrong reasons.  During my eight month self-imposed exile I have mellowed somewhat.  I do remember you.  There are some new faces on the board while others have indeed left but I hope you still have enough friends left to carry on.

It was said to me in ernest and I say it to you now: welcome back.

Sorry I didn't stay long yesterday, our internet went down yesterday and was so sporadic that I gave up!

Seems ok now.  Nice to see so many replies and people still here.

Are you still running around in the Astra ?

I have changed my car now to a Nissan Note and finding the higher seating a godsend for my back and getting in and out.

Lol, Dark_Castle!  Shame on me, I should have thought, everyone loves a barain!

I still have my faithful old Astra but it needs some work.  I have a Meriva now - purple it is!  I like it

but not like that Astra, but I have to face the fact that the Astra may not, ok, definately won't, go on

forever!  I'd like to restore it but don't know enough about how to do it so will have to consider.
