I just went to put the hall light on, near the front door and I suddenly wondered if I'd looked in the mail box today.  I hadn't.  Guess what I found???:O

Aw, thank you, he's sweet and what a beautiful heart, it's so pretty.  Thank you so much.  People are so kind. I'm going to take it with me, and Bertie the cockerel and hang them up in my room.

Well you see Chicken Grandma, it's all karms, what goes round all all that.  Oh off to bed and closing the front doors (storm doors) and this was on the mat.  Not a word, from my lovely neighbour S. (I call her Mrs Moneybags).  She's fab, is 15 years older than me and looks my age or younger.  She is always immaculate.  A Jaeger silk scarf, said it reminded her of my sweeet peas, which I always grew and handed out to neighbours because they grow like billy-o. ** tears of course**, but good ones.  I'll call her tomorrow.

Rainy, how are you?  I've been thinking about you a lot and hoping your recent treatment went ok.  You're amazing, all that you are going through right now and yet you are always thinking whether everyone else is ok.

Merc, you have a lovely neighbour, it's a lovely thing to have.  Our neighbours both sides are so lovely, we are very lucky.  In fact all the people in our little close are lovely and any of them will do stuff for another.

You know, when you watch the news and these 'cowboy builder' programmes and read the newspapers with all their stories of muggings and fraud and downright nastyness, it's easy to forget there are lots of lovely people about still.  A lot of them post on here!:-x

I know CG, honestly, when you buy a paper and watch the news, it's easy to forget just how many wonderful people there are in the world because, basically, good news doesn't seem to sell papers.  But I love to read the lovely, heartwarming stories best of all.

RDW, that's lovely what you did for CG.

On the whole, we have lovely neighbours.  There's just the funny little couple that live next door - joined on and a woman who nobody in the road likes - she lives more or less opposite us.  Apart from that, the rest of our neighbours are lovely.  When the weather was bad earlier on this year, a lady who lives over the road came to see if we wanted any shopping as she was going to the shops near us.  Another neighbour from up the road called to see if we were alright.  On the whole, I live in a lovely neighbourhood.
