Glasgow helicopter crash

My thoughts this morning are definitely with those people who have been killed and or injured in Glasgow last night.

At the time of writing details are quite sketchy as to the number of injuries/fatalities.

I hope that the death toll is not too many - and just before Christmas as well.

Re: Glasgow helicopter crash

It's at times like this that you see the see side of Glasgow that's never shown in ' comedy ' routines.

There is such a desire & willingness to do ANYTHING to help, & the people come together in ways that are humbling.

There is no ' divide '  the people will give their all.

Re: Glasgow helicopter crash

My sister and I were at the cinema at The Quay which is on the other side of the river and downstream. When we came out of the cinema I saw the helicopter heading upstream, but didn't think anything of it because the landing pad is just across the river on the north side. We got in the car to head home by the time we got to the Broomielaw we heard lots and lots of sirens. Then I got home after dropping my sister off to the tragic news of what had happened. Still shocked that something so everyday can go so tragically wrong.
My thoughts and prayers go to all those involved.
