Fridays, fullsome, fanciable fodder

Tonight we are having Liver and Onions, cooked in the cook pot, wonderful smell wafting around the house.  Son has gone to work in disgust, muttering something about bloomin liver for tea.  I have done him something different, but I don't normally.

Salmon salad for us today.

Must admit that it's years since I've had liver and onions.

Brown rice, chuck, mushrooms& toms, + apple. Now looking lovingly at my last Walnut whip, should I have it now or save it for another day?

One of those quick chicken things this time from Mr. W...... had to get the free bottle of champers. 😉 But think I will be going back to Mr. T next week. Can't decide whether to do a jacket potato or roasted potatoes to go with it. And of course some microwaved veg. 🙂

Life is too short so enjoy it while you can!

Re: Fridays, fullsome, fanciable fodder

Talk about wine.  Poor hubby, doesn't get out much.  When we first went into the pub at lunch time he ordered drinks while we waited for another couple of people to arrive.  He ordered a white wine and two orange juices.  He went rather pale and kept doing double takes at the change from £10 note, she put in his hand, 60p.  He looked at it three times before he put it in his pocket!!   Woman Very Happy

I'm still licking my lips from mine, I made homemade kebab in my slow cooker, it was my first attempt & was absolutely delicious. I had it with actifry chips & tons of coleslaw, I'll be making it again ............ really soon Smiley Very Happy

Sounds really nice.  Care to share, providing it is reasonably low fat and sugar(for son).
