I don't really like sweet things, but can be tempted by a lemon meringue pie as long as it is sharp and not too sweet, but I leave the pastry as not keen on that.

it's got to be trifle.....sponge bottom (sorry CG) jelly fruit custard and loads of cream.....

I only do one Christmas and Easter, or I'd eat it all the time..

I make mine on a biscuit base myraandjim perhaps you;d prefer that

I don't like a lot of pud , only a couple of bites but do love making them and seeing the family tuck in .

You sound like my mum Stan.  She'd prefer anything but a pud.

I like trifle with sponges in.  We normally only have trifle at Christmas but I do enjoy.  I'm like you CB.  If we had trifle on a regular basis, we or rather I would eat the lot.
