Fault On Boards?

I keep getting a thing coming up on these threads which says "Stop Running This, continuing will

cause your computer to run slowly."  Then an option to cancel or carry on.  I press cancel and

the thread runs ok then.

Does anyone else have this problem please, or is it just me?  I wonder if it's an Ebay problem

(which wouldn't be unheard of) or my computer.

there  was a thread on seller central i think

never read it  so cant say if its a bug,  the move  relate or a virus/mal ware problem

This may stop when the forums are migrated.

Please do take time to look at the only board which will remain open during the migration.

Also - if you have any saved messages in your PM folders which you wish to keep, save them somewhere else because they will not be migrated to the new platform.

And save the smilies if you want to use them and don't fancy the ones that come with the new boards - they are a bit ........ dire.

So what's the point of the threads if no-one will be able to post or start new threads?

Surely, by that definition, there won't be any threads?!

Why on earth they can't leave things as they are I sure don't know.

I am also getting this fishy plus threads are running ultra slow acyually takes about 4 mins for a thread to be readable once clicked and another 5 mins to post anything which is why I am only lurking at the moment as it's driving me nuts X-(

As I understand it, Liveworld have decided not to run forums any more, so Ebay are having to move the boards to a different forum provider. From tomorrow, these boards will be "locked" and read-only until they move everything over. This will take "some" days.

(And Aernethril is correct - the smileys on the new boards are dire....)

Guys - won't repeat it all here - we're discussing it on the only forum that will stay open whilst the others are down - the Community Updates forum.

So the info is over there for saving, but we're still finding out how to post them for sure.
