i bet she had a tear in her eye
did Wenna have a go too?

Give Goth time to recover and she might pop in with a pic 😄
I cheered when I saw it knowing what it must have meant to her - all that time as a keen horsewoman unable to try the horse she had become closest to
I just hope Deno remembered he was a gentleman and didn't fall over or walk into anything for the duration!

Hope all is well in Croakyland. Fab to see Tracy riding the lummox. I seem to be covered in horse poop, I live in the fields, I am pony slobbered. horse slobbered all the time. This is Georgias loanie pony Ben, he is a big chap 🙂

It looks like Deno and co have their own swimming pool now. Not an intentional one.
All this rain must be making their care very arduous for the Creeky's, particularly trying to keep Deno's hooves in good condition 😞

The weather has been better this year in Creekyland than last although still muddy 😮
Both Deno and Posh are in good health, (touch wood), as are the 'Welsh Gits' 🙂
There's not been so many opportunities for Deno to get down the pub for his Guiness because it gets dark so much earlier - he still goes out for a weekend visit though.

Wow! Took me ages to find this thread! Just wanted to wish all at Creekyland a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Hope all the hoofed ones behave and the non-hoofed too.
Have a wonderful time xx

Thanks for the Christmas wishes and a Happy New Year to all from Creekyland.
We are virtually under water at the moment - Deno and Posh haven't ventured down the orchard for over a week now - Posh doesn't do mud!!
The Welsh gits are in the field over the road so there are less squabbles about who has which stable - even so Deno has managed to virtually demolish the wall between the two stables and Posh has had a jolly good go at knocking down the front wall!
Freddie was due to come and do their hooves in the week before Christmas but hasn't been able to because of the amount of water - hopefully things will improve during the next few days - at least it hasn't been too cold.

i think that maybe a metal walled container would survive a little better as a stable
hope it gets drier soon, cant be good for the grazing areas to be sogggy for so long 😞

I know his birthday turned out to be in May, but we celebrated it on 7th March for years so today I can't help wanting to say 'happy birthday Deno', even if it isnt. It was always the day after my eldest, who turned 12 yesterday.
I hadn't seen the cam for months (re-install, dumped all my bookmarks) but I found it in a saved folder the other day so I just looked in in time to see him snogging Posh and chewing on her coat 😄
Looks very wet there 😞 Bet that must have been even worse. He looks fit and happy though - big thanks to all who make that so.
Love to all Creekies, Defenders, Protectors, Loonies, nitwits et al, and someone please give the lad a scritch behind the ears from me if you get the chance

Do you know, I've been on this sight for eight years and yet this is the first time I've stumbled upon this! I didn't manage to read it all, just to the bottom of page 1. Most impressive - cost of keeping a horse must be horrendous, and so time consuming. Started me off on a happy day. Top marks.
Reminds me of Petra, the Blue Peter dog.

i think this is the 6th or 7th thread, the others started and got so huge to load they have to a new one every 6th month or so
