Deno (proper name De Novo) was adopted by FHG posters in 2005 when one of them, Shebalator, rescued him from slaughter.
Then - 700lbs underweight with a broken jaw and multiple other ills.
2008 - still struggling with sarcoids but finally fit enough to have a light rider up for the first time so he could
join his mates on a jaunt round the local lanes
2009 - due to sheb’s declining health, a new home was sought for Deno.
A very brave ebayer named upthecreekyetagain ( very apt name I think you will agree) agreed to take him on.
So, now Deno lives in Surrey with the Creeky family, plus 3 lovely mares. He has 5 acres of grass and orchards to roam in and is very happy.
His sarcoids still remain a problem, but a new vet is investigating them further to decide on the best course of palliative care.
Visits can be arranged, please contact Creeky for more info.
Deno is reliant on fundraising and donations for his food, medicines and all the things that make his world that bit nicer.

oh well, to repeat
managed a visit to denoland on my way back from visiting sheb,
deno, and all the horses look really fit and well, but as usual deno just had to have something wrong with him, i mean, rainscold, in the driest year we have had in ages, only deno can manage that,
he was very norty in front of his mummy too, dumping poor lindsey off, least she had a fir tree and the old compost heap to soften the fall!!
many thanks to frank and corrie for the as always warm welcome, and to the lovely lara from dropping me back to the airport to get my flight back to cornwall.
those horses truely are a credit to all at creeky gardens, and am very much looking forward to a drink in the new " stables".
i think it should be named " the unstable with inn"
sad news from gothic towers, wenn'a superstar little endurance mare leone has had to be retired due to a problomatic shoulder injury, as you can imagine wenna was deverstaed and was gonna quit riding all together, but she has been offered the loan of a very beautiful 15.2 pure bred arab for a summer of endurance riding, this fits in perfectly with her plans for uni in september, so happy retirement leone and welcome to gothic towers lux, short for lucky, which is short for his full name which i can't even begin to spell at the moment!!
