Croaks I need to take one of my oldies to the hospital for an endoscopy appointment
so quickly
indeed without that group of supporters that have helped you so much there would be much not done they have been stars.
Im on about the fact that there were a few groups and so it took the whatsit from off the boards. We as supporters should never have allowed that to happen.
There is off course the ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh will phone you or email you later I reALLy have to run.
xx

Deno cannot disappear, wherever you hide the big lummox he will burst out on the hunt for karrits n polos. Walls, fences, people, no matter whats in his way he carries on Lol

Personally I think when people migrated to groups they stopped posting as much on here and so the thread is often not on the first page.
I pop in, pop out and if it's not there I don't go looking. Not really a group type person though have been in a few. Limited time and energy!!.
Do feel, along with biker, that he is not as well known on FHG as he used to be.
I thought Creeky was the looker after and look forward to his humerous input(didn't used to write for All at sea did you.?) and piccies. Deno has brightened many a dull day down here.

Well hopefully guardpig things will change now.
The group of supporters that have tirelessly supported, built and held up the croaky one will carry on as always and we can try to keep things boosted and alive in here on the front page of fh&g instead of hiding him in the cellars of ebay.
As Anne mentioned on another thread re the payments not being acknowledged and donators not knowing if their payment has gone through to where it was intended, there has to be a solution! After all paypal has been known to err and just a *payment gotted* would be good.
Or do you have a rebuilding on a regular basis stable fund?
Ive just eaten a werthers caramel fudge. -( I dont yike it.

Who do the pennies go to?
(loving the sig!)
08-12-2012 12:51 PM
Pennies go to Goth, Polos and karrits direct to Deno 😄
08-12-2012 12:59 PM
Perhaps we could ask her nicely to do a thank you email or a post on this thread when she receives a donation?:-)
08-12-2012 1:19 PM
That would be nice - I'm sure Tracy will be more than happy to do so. :-x
Here's Deno, Posh and Talli, all suited and booted and off to the pub for a Guinness!

What a great pic and lovely to see them going out and about 🙂
08-12-2012 3:19 PM
Lovely picture.:-)
09-12-2012 11:52 AM
Posh's body language just shrieks "we get to go out!" 😄
How noisy was Deno while they were away?
*waves to Swampy*

Deno went as well - can't keep him at home when there's Guinness on the menu. Talisha drew the short straw and stayed at home.
The Fox Revived is about 2 miles away - well in range for a gentle walk by Posh and a more vigorous trot for Deno - mind you the "Welsh Gits" with their short legs have to almost gallop to keep up with Deno and Posh walking.
The landlord has provided a special area for the horses with hay supplied free.
Not sure though how much he welcomes Deno who loves to scrape off the wood chippings and then pull up the membrane 😮
Mind you he is a perfect gentelman and always leaves the landlord a present for his roses 😐

can i just say about fund raising and Deno
i think when Sheb 1st found Deno and posted about him there wasnt much fundraising on fhg
after his trials and tribulations of a few years we got more people fundrasing for Chaldon and Harworth cats.
and as more people found the boards and the MDCC they had there own charities to fundraise for
the changing of board format, banning and trolling of some people involved with his care and the move to groups (to take some info from public view) took Deno out of the board 'eye' but he is still there when someone bumps this page (is this the 5th version of the page),
the fb page didnt seem to take off as good as it could have done, but the lack of charity status doesnt help - the reasoning was known and agreed with by many at the time
Thanks for taking on the big lummock Creeky

i probably slept haworth wrong again lol

Slept - 😮 :^O
Thanks for that insight on Deno, Towery:-x
I really can't say enough times that any fund raising for Deno is just the icing on the cake - I have never led any fundraising.
That said it really is much appreciated and at times has got us out of some very sticky situations. This year has been particularly bad, vet bills alone for Deno have been well over £2,000 - (Mud fever, infected foot, sarcoid treatment and injured leg) 😮
The practical help we've received is also incredibly valuable, the conversion of my workshop into stables and feed store, the concreting around the stables and the erection of a sturdy fence to keep him in are just a few examples.
It's impossible to greet Deno without a smile on your face no matter what mayhem he's caused but one of the greatest joys in caring for Deno has been the number of people we've met, virtually and in realife, all with a common concern for Deno.
It will be a real shame if that interest dies 😞

Oh would you believe it - Posh's pose made me laugh so much I didn't even notice it was Deno the other side of her! Deno all tacked up is still a bit of a novel sight for me :8}
Creeky I absolutely believe that when you call, people here will step up to the mark for him - always. But its hard to keep this thread lively with just a series of bumps and herding back to page 1's. Its still here though, and that says something :-x

Theres lots of us who love Deno, and you and your family Frank for taking him on. We respect that, and understand that you may feel uncomfortable taking our small help., always given willingly. Its just that if there was going to be a different way of raising pennies for him,and I acknowledge, the huge vet fees, feed, etc, beyond the call. we are in the dark. Non of us are rich, but we felt we were doing a tiny bit towards helping. If there is a new way forward, a new way of raising funds, again, because we want to, why have we not been included?
This is my last post on this subject.............I will not allow this to become an arguement. We wish you all well. xxxxxxxxxxx

What a lovely photo, its nice to have a horse friendly pub, I can imagine the horror if I rode my mates shire to our local.
Deno looks like he has a nice round belly and posh looks elegant as ever, I bet the poor little welsh is knackered trying to keep up with the bigguns 🙂
