Evening hoick
Nowt much to tell, Little GG is 9 on saturday, she is riding on bigger osses now, her reg one is 14.2/3, she is loving it but still is lacking confidence ( yes she jumps , fast canters etc etc but wont say if her stirrups are wrong)

I do try to watch Deno's thread. Sadly it gets demoted in FHG - I think because Deno Defenders are all working in a private group.
I haven't a clue who the RT peeps are.
So............ we are about to hit November! Get out of Loonies and get listing or bidding!

afternoonies everyone,
hope all DDs and accolites are well.
One question GG has asked if anyone knows , how big will LuLu get? My answer of quite big didn't work Lol

She appears to have been crossed with an Appaloosa stallion, which is at least as big as Posh.
So I guess she will be as big as her Mum when she grows up.
There is also a chance she will change colour over the years. At the moment she is what the breed standard calls "Few spot Leopard". She might stay like that, or change colour completely.

Thanks Stuart, I love her colouring, she is pretty.
Hope with her looks when she is older she will be a good showing horse 🙂

Running in for a hoikette 😄
From the looks of Creekyland lately I think Lulu will shortly be the same colour as Deno - mud colour!

Another bump, mud colour is cool Elphaba 😉
17-11-2011 12:59 PM
My kids certainly seem to think so! :^O :_|
17-11-2011 1:39 PM
So do pigs and hippos - singalong now - mud, mud, glorious mud :^O
17-11-2011 1:51 PM
So does Ringo elpha...... a muddy puddle spied when we are out walking is just an instant attraction and he 'flops in it'.
He hates water usually, but muddy puddles must have some special properties! He even tries to lap up the muddy water even though I always carry a water bowl and fresh water for him to drink.
I am not singing along Borzoi... I hate the muddy puddles because I have to clean Ringo before he can enter the house! If I don't, it is a fun game to run everywhere and shake himself.
Up the walls, up the doors, over the bedding....................

Damson, being a perfect lady, walks around puddles & muddy places. :-x

Knew there was a reason I like greys - and short coats too 🙂
17-11-2011 7:13 PM
I am missing her this evening as she is at the kennels as I have an early start to deepest Devon in the morning.:-)
17-11-2011 7:15 PM
They are great company - but have a good time in Devon 🙂
18-11-2011 8:21 AM
Have a good time Maggie 🙂 Sure Damson will be putting her feet up.
Its not just mud - brown sauce is the shade of choice for Smallest at the moment
18-11-2011 7:47 PM
evening hoick, I agree with mud being "liked" by some, the lab I walk is golden with white bits, he is a chocolate lab in the mud.
GG is having a lesson on a possible loan pony ( only 2 days a week) tommorrow, I have said we need her to have lessons till the spring to check out the pony, I havent seen it yet, bet its a grey.mud. muck magnet colour Lol
19-11-2011 3:35 PM
well, what a disaster, pony is gorgeous, grey, dapple and muddle, very round build ( like me!!).
All went well, until 20 mins into the lesson, splat, she fell off, tears, tantrums, remounted, 5 mins later splat again on the same spot, I offered to get the pony on loan now and GG said no way, she just wants to ride the bigger osses now.
I must confess to laughing on the 2nd fall, I dont think she has ever ridden a tubby pony before and she was a wobbler.
