Deno (proper name De Novo) was adopted by FHG posters in 2005 when one of them, Shebalator, rescued him from slaughter.
Then - 700lbs underweight with a broken jaw and multiple other ills.
2008 - still struggling with sarcoids but finally fit enough to have a light rider up for the first time so he could
join his mates on a jaunt round the local lanes
2009 - due to sheb’s declining health, a new home was sought for Deno.
A very brave ebayer named upthecreekyetagain ( very apt name I think you will agree) agreed to take him on.
So, now Deno lives in Surrey with the Creeky family, plus 3 lovely mares. He has 5 acres of grass and orchards to roam in and is very happy.
His sarcoids still remain a problem, but a new vet is investigating them further to decide on the best course of palliative care.
Visits can be arranged, please contact Creeky for more info.
Deno is reliant on fundraising and donations for his food, medicines and all the things that make his world that bit nicer.

deno strikes again,
i did warn you that if that horse could get into trouble/ hurt himself/ hurt someone else/ cause general chaos ( delete as ness, extra points for doing all 4 at the same time) he would, he didn't get his nickname of captain chaos for nothing you know!!!!
but he looks very happy on the lunge,
both sheb and i did lunge him quite a bit,
but knowing him, he has prolly forgotten how its done!!!

sad.... he was and indeed always will be a great performer.
unfortunately I doubt he will be allowed to rest in peace, I fear there will be many now who will make things up about him to make money:-(

Our mum was devoted to Elvis. I can remember she climbed on my Dad's lap when he died and just howled.
Bev has the same sort of feeling for MJ - she was about my babys age when she first took notice of his music I think. Given all else she has to worry about at the moment and her problems, I'm more than a little worried about her 😞

Elph... I'm very sorry that Bev is so sad about Michael Jackson's death. She's not on her own and he has many fans - hopefully that will give Bev some comfort and sense of sharing and belonging. 🙂
