Could someone explain the SHADOW ACT?

Just watched the Semi-Finals of X-Factor, and the brilliant Shadow Act.  However, I just could not understand the very end.  It was very touching, obviously his wife died, but who was the young pregnant lady who he welcomed at the end????

Know I am being dim, but please someone explain?

I'm exactly the same!!  I followed the last one fine, but this one, I lost the plot.  I'm still sniffling though.  I think they should win the whole thing!!:-x

I thought it was his Mum who died at the end...he got a phone call to say she was in hospital?

and the pregnant girl at the end was his pregnant wife/girlfriend....

Life is a circle?.....:-D

I hope so twishy, it's only right his mum should die before his pregnant wife/girlfriend.  I can live with that.:-D

I got the impression he had moved overseas ( the elephant ) to work/live,

met young lady, got married ( it looked like a mosque ? or a temple ? )

then had to return home as mother ( who had brought him up alone ?

- listening to first lines of accompanying song ) was in hospital  and she died when he got there.

then he found out his wife was pregnant.

Someone else has just told me it was his wife that died and she came back as an angel and told him she'd been pregnant.  It's a bit mean of her isn't it?

No it was the mother that died. She had short hair & the girlfriend had a pony tail. Pay attention! :^O

I had tried to guess, but then hence asking for other opinions.  I thought it was a sort of life-cycle.  That after his wife died, he discovered his daughter was pregnant.
