Mine will go up a weekend when I am off work so this year looks like it will be the 13/14th

Ours will go up on the weekend of the 14th, Hubby is a bit of a bah humbug so don't want to do it too early, might sneak a few bits out earlier though he might not notice.

Ours will be going up in the next couple of weeks.  When I was young, it used to go up before the 10th as it's my birthday then.

I usually put mine up sometime between 15th and 20th, but this year my cleaner will help me, (she'll go up the ladder and do the top as she's only 30) and she's so excited and just can't wait, so I've told her we can put it up on 12th!

It's up!!! spent the whole day putting me back out to get it just right.

OH has just taken a piccie of it as he said it's the best I've decorated yet....I think it's because it's got 800 lights on it

If you want to come and do my tree CB, you are more than welcome.  The thing is, it's still up in the loft.  My 81 year old mother has said that she will go up there and get it done in the next few days!!  Yes, her of the heart condition.  She won't let me go up there and get the tree down.  Honestly, mothers!!!!!!!!!

Gawd CB, that tree is brilliant.  You're just like my nextdoor neighbour.  The thing is, she normally puts about five, yes five Christmas trees up.  That house next door is like Santa's Grotto.  I like the decorations on your fireplace as well.  It's making me feel all Christmassy.
