I am astounded by the intelligence of these children, and their abilities. Also fascinating is watching the parents and their 'encouragement' to the children.
There clearly is a fine balance between encouragement and obsessive focus.
Last night one little girl had such a full schedule of activities in her life, that revision was apparently often undertaken on car journeys between various activities. Apparently, not unusual to have meals in the car during a journey too. Although this child apparently had a very good memory, she did not succeed in remembering answers regarding train stations. I actually thought this young girl must surely be tired!
