Sorry I'm so late, I'm shattered! I've had the family, but doing things, not expecting to be waited on. Daughter came and got me, packed all my stuff and listened to all the instructions. She brought her family here and we all had fish and chips for tea. She gave me my injection and had to go back to hossie to get the drugs they'd forgotten to give us. she unpacked and put away all my stuff. When they'd gone son came. He was sorting out my chair. My leg is so swollen I can't sit in my rocker, it's too tight!! He's coming in the morning to talk to the 'home help' hubby has found,
I have to go for a blood test at 8.20 in the morning! to see what my INR number is for my injection tomorrow evening. I'll have to go until it's about 2.4, it was 1.7 today. I have so many appointments made I'll not have time for anything else!! 😮 I think the embolism makes me tired because I'm short of breath but the warfarin will sort it out.
ouch CG:-( even though your leg is swollen I hope you don't have much pain. At least you get to sleep in your own bed tonight and I bet you go out like a light.
Sweet dreams and take it easy, it's all so easy to think you are superwoman just because you are at home. Stuff the housework for now, you are more important.:-x
Hope you had a good night back in your own space without being pestered by nurses etc 🙂
Take it easy though and let you body heal - do NOT try and do things, just keeping up with appts will tire you more than you expect.

Morning ladies. I was more comfortable thanks because the covers and pillows and everything are softer, but it's still the laying on the back that's uncomfortable. I fell asleep four times I think it was, each for between 10 and 30 minutes. Every time I wake I go for a walk into the front bedroom's bathroom where I have my 'raised toilet seat with arms'!!!
I had an appointment with the GP's nurse for a blood test at 8.20am but the more I thought about it, getting into the car, getting out of the car, getting into the docs etc. etc. the more I realised I wasn't going to be able to do it. So we got the next door neighbour to do it and hubby took it to the nurse. (she's a nurse by the way;\) and she'll do tomorrow's too. Will have my 'lady what does' at 10am. Never had one before. Son told me not to clean up before she gets here!:^O
I could get used to that!;-) Sitting chatting on here, a cup of tea brought to me and someone cleaning my kitchen before she made us our sarnies. Yes, could definitely get used to it..:-D
I have to do my exercises and I have to have an hour on the bed, Do you reckon that means alone?:^O
